Current Proposals

The BOT and the UFF bargaining teams are now negotiating the entire contract for 2007-2010.  The current contract is available on the first tab of this website.  Articles are "TA'd" when both bargaining teams reach tentative agreement on the article.  In the meantime, both bargaining teams exchange proposals until agreement is reached at the table.  After all the articles reach TA status, both the UFF and the BOT need to ratify them.  First, the UFF takes the contract to the bargaining unit for a ratification vote.  If the ratification vote is positive, the contract goes to the full Board of Trustees.  The Board is then offered an opportunity to review and ratify the agreement.  The contract will then be in place until 2010, with a limited number of Articles re-opened each year.
